The 3rd and final photo in the “Sam at Work” series. For now.
One thing I appreciate about the Double Vision embroidery machine is its similarity to an optical printer (perhaps my ultimate artistic tool of choice), in that the technician sets the visual pattern to “go”, and then has the opportunity to sit back in a sort of hypnotic state, listening to rhythms that have become so familiar that a malfunction can be immediately recognized by ear.
